Advertising is an important mechanism for bringing the brand to life.  Our new campaign, "if" is designed to cut through the clutter of other financial services advertising, deliver a clear message and motivate consumers to action.  Based upon the research, "if" addresses the financial burden shift and conveys MetLife as a trusted partner who understands the issues and can provide consumers with solutions - a personal guaranteed safety net for the ifs in life.

The “IF” campaign launched in June 2006 and continues in 2008 with our Spring Flight beginning May 19th, running through June 22nd. The advertising will focus on two innovative tools; the Life Insurance Selector and the Social Security Decision Tool. Three commercials will be running on network television and various cable networks, to promote the tools and retirement planning. Their respective print ads will run in popular magazines in the coming months.
