National Alliance for Caregiving National Alliance for Caregiving

Founded in 1996, the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) is a nonprofit coalition that focuses on issues of family caregiving across the lifespan. Its research, policy analysis and efforts to increase public awareness of family caregiving issues, both nationally and internationally, have made the NAC a valuable partner, collaborating with the Institute on multiple studies and publications, including The MetLife Caregiving Cost Study: Productivity Losses to U.S. Business.
WISER WISER

The Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER) works to provide low- and moderate-income women (aged 18-65) with basic financial information aimed at helping them take financial control over their lives and to increase awareness of the structural barriers that prevent women's adequate participation in the nation's retirement systems. WISER's focused mission makes it an ideal partner in our survey comparing mothers and daughters.
American Society on Aging American Society on Aging

The American Society on Aging is the largest organization of multidisciplinary professionals in the field. The membership of ASA is an array of professionals who are concerned with the physical, emotional, social, economic and spiritual aspects of aging. Their breadth of knowledge and capabilities fit perfectly with the Institute's goals to produce the first study ever of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pre-retirees.
National Association of Area Agencies on Aging National Association of Area Agencies on Aging

The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging is the umbrella organization for the 655 area agencies on aging (AAAs) and more than 230 Title VI Native American aging programs. Their mission is to help older Americans live with dignity at home for as long as possible. They are an advocate for caregivers and those who require care and have partnered with the Institute in making resources available for those who give or need care.
David DeLong & Associates David DeLong & Associates

Dr. DeLong is widely-respected for his work on multigenerational workforce issues. His recent collaboration with the Institute yielded the groundbreaking work, Searching for the Silver Bullet: Leading Edge Solutions for Leveraging an Aging Workforce, which detailed emerging strategies creative-minded employers are using to deal with new challenges posed by increased Baby Boomer retirements. Dr. DeLong's ability to recognize and confront these critical issues makes him a valuable partner with the Institute.
