MetLife is committed to identifying and working with minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs). Our Supplier Diversity Program introduces partnerships and sustains relationships with MWBEs, promoting their long-term economic growth. MetLife includes MWBEs in aggressive sourcing initiatives that provide them the opportunity to become trusted business partners.
How to Qualify
MWBEs who would like to qualify for MetLife's Supplier Diversity Program must be certified by a third party and submit a copy of certification when registering in our supplier database. Please note that registration in our supplier database is not a guarantee of business and contracts are not awarded based on MWBE certified status.
How to Register
Click here to be directed to "Sourcing and Bidding" where you will find instruction on how to register in MetLife's supplier database.
Certification
To preserve the integrity of the Supplier Diversity Program, MetLife must be satisfied that ownership and control has been verified through third party certification. We accept the following certifications:
- Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
- Certification from federal, state and local agencies
Additional Information
MetLife is a corporate sponsor of the National Minority Development Council (NMSDC) and Women's business Enterprice National Council (WBENC) both of which provide a best in class certification process.
