Special hands-on disaster claim processing
To facilitate claim handling for those who have experienced natural disasters, MetLife Auto & Home dispatches its national Catastrophe Response Team and catastrophe response vehicles to those areas that are hardest hit. Our claim associates are on the ground as quickly as possible to help secure shelter, if necessary, guide customers through temporary repairs, issue advance checks and loaded stored value cards in person for immediate expenses, and promptly compensate customers for covered damage to property.
As of June 9, MetLife Auto & Home has dispatched a catastrophe response vehicle to Plymouth, Minnesota, to help customers impacted by recent storms. The vehicle is located at ABRA Autobody, located at 14005 25th Avenue North, Plymouth MN 55447. It will be open for operations between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and will be at this location until June 13.
