Whenever you need us, we'll be there. You can report a claim to us at 1-800-854-6011, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (make that 366 days during a leap year). Our knowledgeable representatives will answer all your questions and speed along the resolution of your claim.

Immediate mobilization for natural disasters

After natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornados, our National Catastrophe Response Team mobilizes to help customers in person. Our insurance service specialists help disaster victims make temporary repairs and secure shelter, if necessary. They may also issue checks or debit cards for immediate expenses, so policyholders can get their lives back in order as quickly as possible. Our National Catastrophe Response Team works closely with customers to help them understand their coverages, answer questions, and address concerns.

Special missing documents assistance

In the aftermath of a vicious storm, it's common to discover that you've lost your birth certificate, marriage license, driver's license, and Social Security card -- essentially proof of your identity. MetLife Auto & Home can help you replace those lost documents at no extra charge.

This help is part of our Identity Theft Protection Services, provided automatically to most homeowners, renters, condo, and auto policyholders at no additional premium.1

We know that finding a qualified, trustworthy auto or home repair contractor can be tough. But we can help:

  • Auto Guaranteed Repair Program. We work with many auto repair shops across the United States who exceed the highest industry standards for service and quality, and meet MetLife Auto & Home's stringent requirements. If you choose one of these recommended facilities, we'll guarantee the work for as long as you own that auto.* (Participation in this program is voluntary; you may use any repair shop that you like.)
  • General Contractor Network. We partner with Crawford Contractor Connection network to provide construction repairs following a property loss. This network of professional contractors provides our customers with many advantages following a loss. Securing a contractor that has expertise in the insurance repair arena is challenging, but we have made it a little easier by leveraging the benefits of this network of certified firms. Work completed by our General Contractor Network comes with a two-year warranty on materials and labor provided.
