Reporting & Technology

MetLife has made a significant investment in technology to make benefits administration easier for both employers and employees, including extensive reporting capabilities, state-of-the-art benefits Web sites, and benchmarking support.

Disability Process Automation, or DPA, is a Web-based, proprietary application that automates the prioritization and distribution of work to claim associates.  With DPA, claim associates can spend more time on service and claim management, knowing that critical information is being prioritized and distributed appropriately in a timely and effective way.

Absence Management Reporting,1 or “The AMR,” provides in-depth statistical reporting with comprehensive analysis resulting in consultative recommendations and strategies for improved processes and protocols.

MetLife also offers a Dashboard Report2 that provides a snapshot of claim experience, demographic information and key claim metrics available for smaller customers in place of the AMR or to supplement the AMR on a more frequent basis for larger customers.

Our MetLink online service allows employers to quickly and conveniently administer MetLife employee benefits programs. And the MyBenefits online portal provides employees with a personalized and integrated view of their MetLife benefits at their convenience. Recent enhancements to these on-line portals have made more comprehensive data now available online, such as critical changes in claim status and information about Social Security status and award information. Additionally, new free-form comments fields allow collection of more details during online claim submissions.
