MetLife proudly salutes Black History Month!

In effort to continue to build engagement with our brand, MetLife has developed print creative that celebrates Black History Month. Black History Month is a special opportunity to salute the great people and vibrant traditions of the past. Equally it should be a time for preparing for new histories that the next generation will create. As the leader in individual insurance, MetLife is proud of the part we can play in making sure that the future is a more secure place for families and their loved ones.

The ad will run during the month of February in national publications such as Black Enterprise, American Legacy, and The Green Magazine.  In addition, the ad ran as a special magazine insert -- the Official Viewer's Guide for the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards. The award show was broadcast LIVE on FOX Thursday, February 14, 2008 (coinciding with Black History Month). To further raise awareness of the event, the magazine insert was distributed in top tier local newspapers in the top ten African American markets.
