NEW YORK, June 10, 2008 – MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced today that it will hold its 2008 Stable Value and Institutional Products Client Conference on Thursday, June 19, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m. (ET).

MetLife presenters will include William J. Mullaney, president, Institutional Business; William J. Wheeler, executive vice president and chief financial officer; Robin F. Lenna, senior vice president, corporate benefit funding; Thomas E. Lenihan, managing director, capital markets/investments; and Robert W. Morgan, managing director and head of domestic portfolio management. The opening remarks will be delivered by Gregory P. Falzon, vice president, corporate benefit funding - sales.

The conference and accompanying presentation materials will provide an overview of MetLife’s financial results, Institutional Business segment and general account portfolio management.
