Being a world leader in insurance and financial services, you can imagine how important our actuarial staff is to the financial strategy and management of our company. As a crucial part of our business and finance teams, actuaries are afforded a stimulating work environment, challenging assignments and ample opportunity for professional development.
For example, the actuarial development program provides intensive preparation for actuarial entry and executive-level assignments. The program itself offers rotational job assignments and reimbursements for exam fees, preparatory classes and study materials. Graduates must have successfully completed a college-level major in mathematics, have a GPA of 3.3 or higher, excellent communication and computer skills, credit for at least one actuarial exam and a commitment to attaining fellowship in the Society of Actuaries, or the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Whether you’re an experienced actuarial professional or a recent college graduate, MetLife is committed to, and accountable for, developing actuaries so that they can make a major, successful impact on the future of our great company.
