Products

Dental Preferred Provider Organization (DPPO) plans, including:

• Copay plans.¹ Help lower your clients’ dental costs over time while keeping their employees satisfied with flexible plan design options and cost-effective monthly premiums.

• Full Service Dental for Retirees. Your clients can enrich their retiree benefits with minimal administration and no benefit expense to their company.

Managed Dental Plans, including:

• Dental HMO (DHMO) plans in California, Florida and Texas.

Indemnity plans. MetLife also provides a traditional fee-for-service dental plan giving your clients' participants the freedom to visit any licensed dentist (no network) in the country for covered services.

Options

Graduating Dental Benefits.² These benefits encourage participants to maintain their dental coverage with MetLife and provide enhanced coverage to help ALL participants achieve and/or maintain good oral health.

MetLife Dental Health Manager^SM,3 MetLife’s interactive, turnkey disease management solution specific to dental health that goes beyond education-only offerings.

Plan Choice. Dual and multi-option features are available on DPPO and DHMO plans⁴.

Funding arrangements, including:

• Voluntary and Employer-Sponsored options. MetLife offers a variety of voluntary dental plan designs for your clients utilizing the DPPO⁵ and DHMO.
• Fully Insured and Self-Funded⁶ options.

Dental benefit plans are available to employers based upon group size, underwriting and state requirements.

¹ MetLife PDP Copay plans are only available to groups with 1,000 or more eligible employees. Copay plans are not available in all states.

The Dental HMO/Managed Care companies are part of the MetLife family of companies. "DHMO" is used to refer to product designs that may differ by state of residence of the enrollee, including but not limited to: "Specialized Health Care Service Plans" in California; "Prepaid Limited Health Service Organizations" as described in Chapter 636 of the Florida statutes in Florida; and a "Single Service Health Maintenance Organizations" in Texas.
