Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Basic AD&D is employer-paid coverage that provides an accidental death benefit equal to an employee's basic term life insurance amount. Basic AD&D also provides a percentage of the basic accidental death benefit amount for qualifying injuries.

Supplemental AD&D is employee-paid coverage that offers employees the same benefit amount as their Supplemental Term Life. A specified percentage of supplemental accidental death benefit is also provided for qualifying injuries.

Dependent AD&D is an employee-paid coverage that provides spouses and dependents with a benefit equal to the Dependent Term Life benefit amount.

Voluntary AD&D is an employee-paid benefit that is offered as a stand alone coverage to employees, spouses and dependent children. Unlike Supplemental AD&D, Voluntary AD&D is available regardless of whether they are enrolled in life insurance.
