Daniel A. O'Neill is head of Metlife's Agricultural Mortgage Portfolio Unit. He was named to this position in 2005. In this role, he is responsible for management of the company's agricultural loan portfolio with oversight for loan approvals, pricing, underwriting, new business development and strategy.
Mr. O'Neill joined the Agricultural Investments Department in 1980 as a Representative in Central California. He became Assistant Manager of the Northwest Regional Office in Billings, Montana in 1984 and the Manager of the Western Regional Office in Fresno, California in 1988. Mr. O'Neill was relocated to Overland Park, Kansas in 1997 where he was responsible for oversight of the Department's regional offices and timber portfolio along with other Agricultural Investments officers.
Mr. O'Neill is a 1977 graduate of California State University, Fresno with a degree in Agricultural Business. Before joining MetLife, he worked in farm management in Central California.
