Kevin R. Cavanagh

Kevin R. Cavanagh is the Managing Director in charge of the unit responsible for Agricultural and Real Estate Risk, Research and Reporting in MetLife’s Investments Department, a position he assumed in mid-2003. In this capacity, he is responsible for support of strategic and transactional decisions through risk management (credit, market and operational) initiatives, property market research and portfolio modeling.

Previously, Kevin was a Director in Strategy & Business Development. Prior to transferring to Strategy & Business Development, he was responsible for pricing, credit and structural review of commercial mortgage transactions in the Mortgage Investments Management unit. His unit was also responsible for mortgage portfolio management and loan administration.

Kevin joined MetLife in 1984 as an analyst in the Corporate Controller’s Department and advanced to become the manager of Financial Reporting. In 1990, he transferred to the Real Estate Investments unit responsible for open-ended and individually managed real estate separate accounts. In 1992, Kevin joined the unit responsible for management of problem loans.
