C. Ray Smith

As the head of the Timberland Finance Group, Smith's responsibilities include the origination and management of the company timberland investments both domestically and internationally. Ray began his agricultural career over 20 years ago with a small agricultural finance company in Memphis,TN. Since that time, he has had diverse assignments around the country including land management, real estate sales and agricultural and timber lending. He has an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Tennessee at Martin and an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
