MetLife's U.S. Business Leadership Development Program is a challenging and results-driven three year rotational program. The program goes far beyond just your professional role. It prepares you as a future business leader by providing you with broad exposure to different areas of MetLife's business and offering guided career development, leadership training and people skills development. The program has also established a wide network of support for you consisting of your program manager, business manager, senior mentor and fellow program associates/alumni.
The Leadership Development Program sits within the U.S. Business arm of MetLife's business, which focuses on supporting our customers' needs by offering a strong portfolio of employee benefit, protection and retirement products. Associates in the program are placed in various parts of U.S. Business in offices across the country.
The program lasts approximately three years and is made up of three rotations lasting approximately one year each. Each one-year rotation will be in a different group within your business department (i.e., if you are placed in Marketing, you will rotate to different groups within the Marketing organization). The program does provide flexibility in rotating out of your department if another area proves to be a stronger fit for you.
