In addition to your day-to-day transactions, there are some special situations that can leave your identity exposed.

Military Service

If you're with any of the armed services and are stationed away from home, whether in the U.S. or abroad, you'll have an alert placed on your credit report for the first year of service. Assistance is also available to you and any relatives, including your spouse or civil union partner. Should anyone tamper with your identity, home or abroad, we're there to help.

Note that protection services may be extended if you are deployed for more than one year.

Estate Management

When a loved one passes, we think proactively. A fraud specialist is immediately assigned to help you:

Protect your deceased loved one's identity and credit history from misuse
Close joint bank, loan, and credit card accounts
Pursue death benefits to which you may be entitled

Travel Benefits

Prior to your trip, we can provide guidance on how to protect your identity while traveling. But, if passports, credit cards, or any other crucial documents are lost or stolen while you're traveling domestically or internationally, our fraud specialists will be there to assist you with canceling and/or replacing them.

Child Identity Protection

If for any reason your child's information is misused, we'll assign a fraud specialist to initiate a credit file suppression. This action will immediately restrict access to your child’s personal information and help prevent any inappropriate activity from continuing.

Relocation Services

Moving is stressful enough. That's why we take the necessary steps to safeguard your financial, credit, and personal information while you're making the transition from one residence to another. Our fraud specialists will help you handle a postal address change, mail forwarding and other related issues.

Medical Identity Theft

If your identity is fraudulently used to obtain medical services and treatment, we will work with your health care providers and insurers to resolve the issues. We will help ensure medical records are corrected, and reduce the chance for any life-threatening errors.

Disaster Mitigation
