MetLife Open Global Technology Campus in Galway:

MetLife has announced that it will create a new Global Technology Campus in Galway, continuing its significant investment globally to increase collaboration and innovation. The new campus will open in early 2017 creating more than 200 jobs over three years. It is scheduled to be at full capacity by 2019. A primary focus of the Galway campus will be developing digital solutions that can be rapidly and efficiently scaled to markets around the world. Recruitment will soon begin for a variety of roles across a number of IT disciplines including Software Development, Production Management, Project Management, Testing, Management and support roles.

MetLife opened our first Dublin office in 2006 which is now the operational headquarters of our Western and Central Europe Region, in addition a significant number of our colleagues are focused on supporting our broader EMEA and Global functions. Once the new Global Technology Campus is fully operational, MetLife’s presence in Ireland will grow to more than 500 employees, including approximately 300 based in Dublin today.
