METLIFE EXPATRIATE BENEFITS REBRANDS AS METLIFE WORLDWIDE BENEFITS

NEW YORK, June 07, 2017 – MetLife (NYSE: MET) today announced the rebrand of its expatriate benefits business as "MetLife Worldwide Benefits." The new name reflects the range of benefits MetLife offers and the broader spectrum of international assignees and business travelers covered by the business.

"MetLife has provided quality benefits to global employees since the 1950s," said Ann Deugo, vice president, MetLife Worldwide Benefits and Center of Excellence. "Our priority has always been to provide best-in-class service to our customers and their members, no matter where in the world they are – and our new name is befitting of how far these efforts reach."

MetLife Worldwide Benefits was recently awarded "Employee Benefits Service Provider of the Year" for the third consecutive year by the Forum for Expatriate Management, which manages the Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards. In 2016, MetLife expanded its worldwide benefits offerings through a partnership with Empire Life Insurance Company in Canada, branded as Voyageur Global Benefits program and administered by MetLife.

MetLife's worldwide benefits products are underwritten by Delaware American Life Insurance Company, a MetLife affiliate domiciled at 600 North King Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, and other affiliates. For more information, visit www.MetLifeWorldwide.com.
