For your clients with more than 10 employees, MetLife offers a variety of voluntary dental plan designs, utilizing the Preferred Dentist Program, our dental preferred provider organization1 (PPO) product. With our Dental PPO, you can feel confident you'll be recommending voluntary solutions to help your clients meet their benefit objectives from both a cost and value perspective - with plans employees appreciate.

A Thoughtful Approach to Plan Design

Dental Plan Design: Through our thoughtful, practical, consultative approach to plan design, we can help you increase the value of your clients' voluntary dental benefit plans in ways that meet their goals. We accomplish this by integrating current market trends, clinical research and treatment protocols into our standard plans – providing coverage for services their employees want and need. Consider these examples.

 

Network Dental Fees: All participating dentists agree to accept negotiated fees as payment in full for all covered services provided. Negotiated dental fees are typically 15% to 45% below community average charges. Plus, when visiting network dentists, negotiated fees may extend to non-covered services and services provided after the annual benefit maximum has been exceeded.3

 

 

Dental Plan Administration: We continue to streamline and improve the benefits delivery process, enhancing employee satisfaction and making it easier to administer voluntary dental benefit plans in a more efficient and cost-effective manner. Our goal is to create a "quiet" plan to give you and your clients more time to focus on other priorities.

Choice of Dental Providers: Broad national networks mean greater access and less disruption for plan participants. Participants can also choose to go outside the network and still receive benefits, though out-of-pocket expenses may be greater.
