The responsibilities held by MetLife Customer Service Consultants (CSCs) are substantial in scope and impact for the company. MetLife responds to over 27 million inquiries per year and our goal is to make each service experience so valuable, distinct, and efficient that every customer will want be "met" for life. With more than 1,200 associates, our Customer Sales & Service careers can be found in five dedicated U.S. locations including Warwick, RI, Tulsa, OK, Dayton, OH, Utica, NY, and Tewksbury, MA.

Our consultants are organized into smaller teams dedicated to supporting a different product area and business franchise, including some dedicated to handling inquiries for specific large institutional clients. Following a 6-12 week training course, every CSC is empowered to provide solutions for our customers and inform them about MetLife products and services. And while every CSC may support a different product or franchise, they all have one thing in common – each is committed to providing superior customer service – from the ordinary, such as policy maintenance and inquiries, to complex transactions such as changes of personal account details, beneficiary changes and loans.

Associates in MetLife’s Sales Support jobs make significant decisions that affect our customers’ financial and protection planning. This takes professionals who possess good judgment, business acumen and sound analytical skills. These skills and competencies are needed to develop sales tools, recruit and train sales associates, provide producer support, install group contracts, and process sales compensation. In making these determinations, the sales support professional acts as the main link between the insurance carrier and the insurance agent/broker.
