Important changes for 2010 to MetLife Benefit programs were announced this fall. Please make use of the resources noted below to understand these changes and how they may impact you and your benefit decision-making for 2010.
For the MetLife Savings and Investment Plan (SIP) in 2010, there will be changes to the core investment funds, an increase in the limit of fund transfers/reallocations (from two to four per month) and the addition of fund-specific withdrawals from the Fixed Income Fund. These changes are detailed in the letter mailed in mid-November to SIP participants, and at year-end they will be reflected on the Your Retirement Benefits Web site, which also provides a wealth of information about how SIP and the Retirement Plan work.
