Alfred Chang
Alfred Chang leads residential loan trading and portfolio strategy for the residential mortgage portfolio at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). In this role, he is responsible for the credit analysis, pricing, credit/compliance due diligence and contract finance required to trade mortgage loans. He is also responsible for determining relative value across whole loan investments as well as choosing the counterparties to source these investments.
Prior to joining MetLife in 2008, Alfred was director of secondary marketing for MetLife Bank which included sales of non-agency mortgages that were originated by the bank. Roles prior to MetLife Bank ranged from directing master servicing to loan trading and transaction management. Across all of the above roles, Alfred has over 20 years of mortgage experience.
Alfred graduated from Texas Christian University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and is involved with various working groups within the Structured Finance Industry Group.
