Anders Faergemann

Anders Faergemann is head of Global Sovereigns & Economics at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Andrew joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

At PineBridge, Anders was head of Global Sovereigns & Economics. Upon joining the firm, he developed the firm’s EM local currency debt capabilities. He was responsible for a dedicated EM local currency strategy and co-managed EM blended portfolios, as well as global government bonds strategy. Anders was instrumental in institutionalizing the EM local currency investment process, building on his significant FX experience as EM currency strategist with AIG Trading dating back to 1998.

Anders holds an economics degree from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Arts in Economics of the European Union from the University of Exeter, UK. He also holds an Investment Management Certificate.
