Peter Hu, CFA, FRM

Peter Hu, CFA, FRM, is a portfolio manager for Global Multi-Asset at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Peter joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

Most recently at PineBridge, Peter was a portfolio manager for the Multi-Asset Strategy. He led the implementation function, ensuring investment convictions were effectively expressed across all Global Multi-Asset team-managed products, in alignment with risk-return objectives and constraints. Previously, Peter was an analyst in the Quantitative Portfolio Management Group before transitioning to the Global Multi-Asset team in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a derivative pricing analyst at International Fund Services, where he oversaw the derivative pricing process and developed pricing tools for a variety of derivative instruments.

Peter holds a Master of Engineering in financial engineering from Cornell University, as well as a Master of Operations Research and a Bachelor of Technology in industrial mathematics from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is a CFA^® charterholder and a certified FRM holder.
