Huzaifa Husain

Huzaifa Husain is Head of India Equities at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Huzaifa joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

Most recently at PineBridge, Huzaifa was head of Equities in India. He’d previously joined AIG’s asset management company (AMC), which later became PineBridge Investments. His industry experience started in 1997. At AMC, Huzaifa was a key member of the team advising the PineBridge India Equity Fund (a Dublin-domiciled India offshore fund). He was also responsible for managing the locally domiciled funds. Prior to joining India AMC, Huzaifa was an equity analyst at Principal Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund.

Huzaifa received a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore and a Bachelor in Technology from the Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
