Jim Fisher
Head of Alternatives
Jim Fisher is head of Alternatives at MetLife Investment Management (MIM), with responsibility for Middle Market Direct Lending and Private Equity, a newly established division that was previously within MIM’s Private Capital business.
Most recently, Jim led Private Credit at PineBridge Investments, which he launched upon joining PineBridge. Jim has over 40 years of experience lending to and investing in middle-market companies. His career began at JPMorgan Chase, where he spent two decades, founding and leading the Middle Market Leveraged Finance business.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Union College in New York and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University in California.
