Robert Castellano

Robert Castellano is a Vice President, Originations at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Robert joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

Most recently, at PineBridge, Robert was vice president in the firm’s middle market private credit business, where he was responsible for sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities and managing relationships with private equity sponsors. Robert brings over a decade of experience in middle market leveraged finance, spanning credit underwriting, portfolio management, and originations. Prior to PineBridge, he was a vice president at Capital One Sponsor Finance, and he began his career as a credit analyst at CapitalSource.

Robert earned a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. He is also a CFA^® Charterholder.
