Simon Tsoi, CFA, FRM

Simon Tsoi, CFA, FRM, is a portfolio manager, Asia ex Japan Equities, at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Simon joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

Most recently at PineBridge, Simon was the portfolio manager for PineBridge’s Greater China and Hong Kong equity portfolios. With nearly 15 years of experience in fundamental equity investment and research covering the Asia region, Simon played a key role in the team’s investment management process and portfolio decision-making, where his responsibilities encompassed conducting in-depth valuation analyses, performing industry research, and generating innovative investment ideas.

Prior to PineBridge, Simon served as a research analyst at Seres Asset Management, where he focused on small and mid-cap companies in Hong Kong, China, and ASEAN. He also held a similar role at WMG Asia, a regional hedge fund.

Simon holds a Master of Business Administration from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as well as a Master of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in actuarial science, both from The University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA^® charterholder and certified Financial Risk Manager.
