MetLife Legal Plans Log-in
- Visit members.legalplans.com to create an account with your personal email, and a password.
- Provide personal information such as name, address and employer to complete.
- Elect your preference on setting-up multi-factor authentication to access your account to enhance security. To do this, go to “Login Settings,” and select “Enable” for “Multi-Factor Authentication.” A code will be sent to the email used for log-in. Once enabled, you will receive a code each time for log-in at this email to access the site.
- An Eligibility ID will be assigned upon account registration. This is the unique number you will provide to a network attorney so they can verify your eligibility and coverage for services. It is a 9-digit alphanumeric identifier found at the top-right of your log-in profile or it, can be provided by a Client Services Representative over the phone.

                    We now offer the first fully digital estate planning solution, giving employees the ability to choose an attorney for estate planning or create their own plan through our digital estate planning solution. Employees are taken through a simple, guided process to complete wills, living wills and/or power of attorney, in as little as 15 minutes.

We cover the participating employee and/or spouse, enrolled in the Enhanced Plan for legal services and court work related to reproductive assistance matters. Most plans only cover this at a discounted rate. Reproductive assistance matters may include, as permitted by law, surrogacy, egg donation, sperm donation, gamete donation, embryo donation and embryo adoption.

For non-covered matters that are not otherwise excluded, this benefit provides additional attorney time and services each year. Members can see attorneys for consultation, document review and more for a range of legal matters their plan doesn’t cover.
This service provides representation for the employee and spouse when they are probating an estate and have been appointed executor or administrator. The service includes all the court proceedings to transfer probate assets from the decedent to the heirs, and more. This service does not include prosecuting or defending any litigation including a will contest. Most legal plan providers offer this with hour limits, but we cover fully under the Enhanced Plan.
This covers preparation of petitions, consent forms and waivers, and representation at any court hearings to modify or enforce a child custody order.
This service covers representation of the participant in defense of any driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated charge, including court hearings, negotiation with the prosecutor and trial. It does not cover vehicular homicide. This service does not include any post-sentencing proceeding, probation violation hearing or appeals by either party.
This covers representation after a judgment has been entered to enforce or modify a court’s award of support or alimony.
Where permitted by law, this service covers the filing of a petition and appearance at any necessary hearing to expunge convictions from a participant’s criminal record.
This service covers the participant for the preparation of all paperwork needed, and attendance at the hearing to pursue a habeas corpus proceeding to obtain the release of a participant who is being unlawfully imprisoned.
This service provides the participant with assistance in making insurance claims with the participant’s own carrier provided the carrier is not affiliated with the plan member’s sponsor or employer. Litigation of coverage issues is included. Litigation of damages is not included.
This service covers representation for participants in defense of any criminal misdemeanor charge except those relating to traffic or driving under influence charges. Representation includes court hearings, negotiation with the prosecutor and trial. It does not include representation of a felony charge that is subsequently reduced to a misdemeanor, post sentencing proceeding, or probation violation hearing or appeals by either party.
This service covers representation for participant or spouse through the administrative process including preparing initial forms, requests for reconsideration, hearing requests, attendance at hearings and review of decision order.
This service covers advice and consultation, preparation of affidavits and powers of attorney, review of any immigration documents, and helping the covered person prepare for hearings.

John received a notice in the mail that his daughter, who is away at college in another state, got a traffic camera ticket near campus. He found an attorney in the network near his daughter that she was able to contact to go over the situation and what her options were. The attorney was able to contact the city to contest the ticket and made a court appearance on her behalf to get the ticket dismissed since traffic camera tickets had been outlawed in the state.

Yes, most services under the legal plan are available without limits or additional costs. All you pay is your monthly premium; there are no co-payments and no deductibles. The cost for the legal plan is conveniently deducted from your paycheck.
If you’ve ever hired an attorney, you know how quickly the attorney fees can add up. With MetLife Legal Plans, you can get fully covered legal services at a cost-effective price. It’s like having an attorney on retainer! You can remain enrolled through a Continuation of Coverage plan. The monthly rate and covered services are the same as your former Amazon plan. Visit members.legalplans.com for plan details.
To continue coverage, you must enroll in this plan within 60 days of your last day of employment. How to enroll:
1. Log in or create your MetLife Legal Plans account at members.legalplans.com.
2. Once logged in, go to your account menu and select ‘Continue my Coverage.’ Click the link to enroll.
3. Provide your credit card details. ACH debits or personal checks are not accepted.
Once enrolled, we will charge your credit card each month on the same date that you enrolled, or next business banking day if that day falls on a weekend or holiday.
Your continued coverage will remain in effect through the end of Amazon’s benefit plan year (12/31). Your plan will automatically renew for an additional 12-month terms unless you cancel coverage during your annual renewal period.
