Jason Chapin
Jason Chapin is portfolio manager of Fixed Income Index Strategies. Jason is responsible for all aspects of the portfolio management process, including: investment and rebalance decisions, performance attribution analysis, portfolio analytics, quarterly commentary creation and daily operations.
Jason joined MetLife in 2001 in the structured products group. He started as an ABS research analyst and trader before expanding into high yield corporate debt trading. He managed the ABS and CMBS trading desks for almost a decade and transitioned to the agency RMBS trading desk, before joining the Index Strategies team in 2016. Prior to joining MetLife, Jason was an analyst for Fleet Bank in the middle market mending group.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
