Tony Lau, CFA

Tony Lau, CFA, is a senior vice president, Equities, at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Tony joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

Most recently, at PineBridge, Tony was a senior vice president within the Asia ex-Japan Equity team. In that role, he managed the Asia ex-Japan Small Cap Equity strategy, overseeing stock positioning and overall portfolio construction. He was also responsible for conducting valuation analysis, undertaking industry research, and generating investment ideas for regional portfolios.

Prior to PineBridge, Tony was an equity investment analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ Kokusai Asset Management, where he covered the industrials and information technology sectors, with a focus on the Greater China market. He began his career as a hedge fund equity analyst at Harbour Capital Management.

Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is a CFA^® charterholder.
