Andy Suen, CFA, FRM

Andy Suen, CFA, FRM, is co-head of Asia Fixed Income at MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Andy joined MIM in December 2025, in connection with the acquisition of PineBridge Investments by MIM.

At PineBridge, Andy was co-head of Asia Fixed Income and his responsibilities included portfolio management and overseeing the firm’s Asia fixed income capabilities. Andy and the strategies he managed have been recognized as an industry leader by several organizations including Morningstar, Bloomberg, The Asset, Citywire, and others.

Andy began his career in the industry in 2007 as a credit research analyst and has extensive analysis experience covering Asian credit. Andy also served as PineBridge’s head of Asia ex-Japan Credit Research. Prior to joining PineBridge, Andy’s investment experience included serving as a credit desk analyst at BNP Paribas’ Asia flow credit trading desk and a publishing credit analyst at UBS Asia credit research team.

Andy holds a master’s degree in financial mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science with first-class honors from the University of Hong Kong. He is a CFA^® charterholder and a certified FRM.
