John Yovanovic, CFA

John Yovanovic is co-head of Leveraged Finance at MetLife Investment Management (MIM), where he co-manages the Leveraged Finance group and oversees high yield portfolio management. Prior to MIM’s acquisition of PineBridge Investments in 2025, John held a number of leadership positions across the leveraged finance platform including co-head of Leveraged Finance and head of High Yield Portfolio Management. Before joining PineBridge in 2000, John held positions as senior research analyst, head of the Energy/Utilities Research team and head of AIG’s High Yield Trading Desk. He also served as a senior research analyst and trader at Mentor Investment Advisors, a division of Wachovia Corporation. John began his career in equity research at VanKampen Funds before moving into high-yield research and trading.

John received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He is a CFA^® charterholder.
