Head of MetLife Global Credit
Bradley Rhoads is a Senior Managing Director and Head of MetLife's Global Credit Unit. In this role he is responsible for overseeing all of MetLife's corporate credit investments, including investments in high grade corporate bonds, high yield bonds and loans, private placements and municipal bonds.
Mr. Rhoads joined MetLife in 1986 as a credit analyst in Private Placements. Following rotations in Real Estate Investments and in MetLife's Asset-Liability Management area, in 1996 he assumed responsibility for managing MetLife's Public Corporate bond portfolio, including overseeing MetLife's corporate bond trading desk. In 1998, Mr. Rhoads transitioned to managing MetLife's High Yield Bond program and oversaw the growth of that portfolio from $750 million to over $5 billion. He served as MetLife's Chief Market Strategist from 2003 - 2005 and ran MetLife's Alternative Investment and Leveraged Finance areas from 2005 to 2011.
Majoring in Business Administration, Mr. Rhoads received his BS from Elizabethtown College in 1982. He earned his MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
