Head of Private Capital Investors
Scott Inglis is Managing Director and Head of MetLife's $50 billion Private Securities Unit. In this position he manages MetLife's private placement, project finance, leasing and tax oriented investment businesses.
Previously, Mr. Inglis managed MetLife's High Return Unit, which included high yield, bank loan, emerging markets, workouts, and corporate equity. He joined MetLife in 2001 to manage the domestic private placement portfolio.
Before joining MetLife, Mr. Inglis was Senior Vice President and Head of American General Corporation's Private Placement Group. He has experience in a wide variety of private finance structures including investment grade debt, project finance, credit tenant leases, mezzanine debt, and private equity.
Prior to joining American General in 1989, Mr. Inglis was Vice President at Prudential Capital Corporation. During his seven years at Prudential, he was responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and closing a wide variety of private investments.
Mr. Inglis holds a BBA degree from Baylor University and an MBA degree from the University of Texas.
