David V. Politano
Head of International, Northeast, and Capital Markets Group, Real Estate
David V. Politano is a Managing Director and Head of the International, Northeast and Capital Markets Group. Politano joined MetLife in 1994 and in 2002 assumed responsibility for the Northeast Region.
Under his leadership, the region originated $13 billion in loans, acquired real estate equity in excess of $1 billion, and sold $8.2 billion of real estate. These sales included 200 Park Avenue, One Madison Avenue, and the $5.4 billion sale of Peter Cooper Village and Stuyvesant Town. In addition, he led MetLife's real estate team as part of the 2010 acquisition of ALICO.
He is currently on the Board of the Grand Central Partnership for MetLife. In addition, he represented MetLife on the Board of Governors for the Real Estate Board of New York and was a member of RELA and the MBA.
Politano holds a bachelor's degree from Pace University and a master's degree from New York University.
