With over 25 million people worldwide living with Alzheimer's disease and rates expected to double within the next 15 years, we are facing a 21st century epidemic. Alzheimer's disease has a profound effect on the individual and their family and while a cure is eagerly anticipated, MetLife Foundation is working to increase public understanding to help people prepare for the many challenges surrounding the disease. The Foundation also provides support for Alzheimer's disease research and public education campaigns.
