Insights Into the Oldest and Youngest Boomers
For the second year in a row, the MMI conducted a nationally representative survey of the Oldest Boomers. Boomers turning 63 in 2009 were surveyed in October 2008, including many of the original respondents from the 2007 study, Boomers: Ready to Launch.
To compare and contrast the Oldest and Youngest Boomers, the MMI also conducted a comparable nationally representative survey of the trailing edge Boomers, who turned 45 in 2009. Asking many of the same questions to each group, the MMI found that they share traits and perspectives, yet have different attitudes, life experiences, and goals.
