|It's hard to believe it has been 15 years since the Institute was established! While years seem to pass in a blink of an eye, there has been much change - at the Institute, and worldwide. We all continue to evolve, and new focus is brought to bear.|
In 1997, we began as a small group focused on identifying matters of importance to an aging population. Since then, we have grown and expanded our focus to include issues affecting all generations, in the United States and worldwide. It has been exciting and meaningful to see the impact these learnings have in better understanding the world we live in, and the resulting positive impact.
Here, we have highlighted our work over the years, and provided snapshots of U.S. and world events. There are also some very interesting comparatives of consumer costs and population demographics. We hope you enjoy looking through this - perhaps it can serve as a reminder of how quickly things change, and how important it is to value all that we have right now, at this particular moment.
Best wishes for a peaceful and joyful 2013
