MetLife Investment Management Closes Galaxy 37 CLO

Aug 13, 2026

WHIPPANY, N.J, August 13, 2026 – PineBridge Investments, which is now part of MetLife Investment Management (MIM), the institutional asset management business of MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET), has closed a $400 million target par new issue collateralized loan obligation, Galaxy 37 CLO, Ltd. (Galaxy 37).

Marking the 44th CLO issuance by PineBridge Investments, and the first since it joined the MIM platform, Galaxy 37 follows the close of Galaxy 36 CLO, Ltd., a $450 million target par new issue collateralized loan obligation (CLO) completed in December 2025, as well as four additional U.S. CLO refinancing and reset transactions completed so far in 2026. Together, these transactions underscore the continued expansion and momentum of the CLO business.

“Galaxy 37 demonstrates the strong investor demand for the team’s CLO products and capabilities” said Kevin Wolfson, U.S. CLO and leveraged loan portfolio manager. “As we continue to grow and scale the platform, we remain focused on executing our time-tested investment strategy.”

Dan Sherry, U.S. CLO portfolio manager, added: “This transaction reflects the strength of our team. Looking ahead, we will continue to develop and grow the CLO business as part of the larger MIM platform, supported by access to greater global resources and capabilities of MetLife.”

The PineBridge Investments team has managed CLOs since 1999 via its global platform with investment professionals in the United States and Europe, covering U.S. and European loans, high yield bonds, and CLOs. As of March 31, 2026, PineBridge Investments managed $26.0 billion in leveraged finance assets, including $12.6 billion in CLO assets under management across PineBridge-managed CLOs and CLO tranche investments.
