Information
Who is eligible?
Employees who:
- Have been employed with the employer for at least 12 months.
- Have worked at least 1,250 hours during the 12 months prior to the start of leave.
How Many Weeks is Caregiver Leave?
- Up to 8 weeks of paid leave in a 12-month period.
- Caregiver leave must be taken in a minimum of 4 consecutive workday increments.
What can Caregiver Leave be used for?
- To bond with a newborn, newly adopted child, or newly placed foster child.
- Caregiver leave can also be used to care for a family member with a serious health condition.
