UFA members can submit disability claims to MetLife either by phone or via the web.
To submit claims by phone call 1-800-GET-MET-8 from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Mondays – Fridays. This will take you to the MetLife IVR where you will say that you’re looking to file a disability claim. When asked the name of your employer say, “Uniformed Firefighters Association”.
To submit claims by web, Click Here and you will be taken to MetLife’s MyBenefits member portal. If it’s your first time on the site, you will need to register. Type in Uniformed Firefighters Association in the organization field to begin.
Web claims can be filed 6:30 am – 10:00 pm Mondays – Fridays, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm on Saturdays and 9:00 am – 8:00 pm on Sundays.
