Use our secure online portal, eBenefits, to manage your Medical benefits. Our convenient, easy-to-use website is at your fingertips 24/ 7 at eBenefits.metlife.com.
Capabilities
If you have Medical insurance and are registered for eBenefits, you can:
- Submit a claim online and view your claim history
- Search for full-service hospitals, medical centers, clinics, and doctors virtually anywhere in the world
- Print a copy of your ID card or your dependents’ ID cards
- Request hard copies of your ID cards
- Download a Certificate of Coverage
- Submit provider feedback
- Update your mailing address or employment status
- View coverage details
- Download forms and policy information
- Review travel information, such as a global risk map, global events, and country risks
- Access wellness tools such as health risk assessments and personal health trackers
- Access counselors through the International Employee Assistance Program1 (IEAP), if applicable
- Set language preferences to read in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, Korean or Hindi

There is more personalized content and collateral on eBenefits in the “Documents and Forms” tab. Because it’s bespoke to you and your plan, you have to login to get to it.
You can find:
Policy documents
Your policy documents govern how your plan is paid – essentially, how we pay for your care. These documents include your Schedule of Benefits, Certificate of Insurance, and your Certificate Riders.
Schedule of Benefits
A high-level outline of how various benefits are paid, organized by whether the service is rendered internationally, in-network in the US, or out-of-network in the US
Certificate of Insurance
The governing document that includes all plan provisions, exclusions, and details. You’ll have one for Medical, Dental, Vision (if you have those coverages) and separate ones for Life and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
Certificates Riders
Any amendments that have been made to your certificate
