HYATT LEGAL PLANS' ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL APPOINTED TO THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION STANDING COMMITTEE ON GROUP AND PREPAID LEGAL SERVICES

Robert Dzik, Panel Operations Director and Assistant General Counsel of Hyatt Legal Plans, has been appointed to a three-year term with the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Group and Prepaid Legal Services. As part of this appointment, Mr. Dzik will also serve on the Board of Directors of the American Prepaid Legal Services Institute (API).

Mr. Dzik joined Hyatt Legal Plans in 1996 with over 25 years of legal experience. He currently oversees the recruitment, training and supervision of Hyatt’s nationwide attorney network.

Hyatt Legal Plans was founded by attorneys who have been actively involved in the API for more than two decades. “It is an honor to be appointed to these positions by our industry’s top professional trade association,” said Dzik. “It’s exciting to be a part of the API at a time when group legal plans are experiencing robust growth.”

The key to the company’s market leadership is its management by seasoned attorneys who have practiced law and are dedicated to providing quality, affordable service to legal plan members. Hyatt Legal Plans provides service to four million plan members and dependents through 4,700 participating law firms. Hyatt recently conducted a survey of its panel, the results of which showed that Hyatt is the dominant referral provider to law firms that are on multiple panels. The survey also found that the participating law firms are highly satisfied with the support they receive from Hyatt, which, in turn, helps them provide superior service to Hyatt’s legal plan members.

“We’re proud of these results which exemplify Hyatt’s commitment to providing the nation’s best service to our plan members, sponsors and participating law firms,” said Bill Brooks, CEO of Hyatt Legal Plans.
