METLIFE TO HOLD STABLE VALUE AND INSTITUTIONAL PRODUCTS CLIENT CONFERENCE

MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced today that it will hold its 2007 Stable Value and Institutional Products Client Conference on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m. (ET).

MetLife presenters will include William J. Mullaney, president, Institutional Business; William J. Wheeler, executive vice president and chief financial officer; Maria R. Morris, executive vice president, employee benefits sales; Thomas E. Lenihan, managing director, investment management; and Robert W. Morgan, managing director and head of domestic portfolio management. C. Robert Henrikson, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer, will deliver closing remarks.

The conference and accompanying presentation materials will provide an overview of MetLife’s financial results, Institutional Business segment, general account portfolio management and capital markets investment products.
