METLIFE NAMED “BEST IN SHOW” BY THE INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL COMMUNICATORS ASSOCIATION

MetLife was recently recognized with a “Best in Show” by the Insurance & Financial Communicators Association for three of its marketing and communications initiatives. The “Best of Show” award is the highest honor presented in the competition and recognizes entries that are outstanding within the industry. MetLife won for:

  • Business Succession Client Brochure – A user-friendly resource for solutions-based sales strategies was designed to aid the broker/consultant in prospecting, profiling, educating and attracting clients.
  • MetLife’s Employee Benefits Simplifier Tool – Developed to help individuals make better decisions during their companies' Open Enrollment.
  • Personal Financial Diary - Designed to help individuals get organized by consolidating their personal and financial information and documents in one place.


MetLife also received a number of Awards of Excellence and Honorable Mentions in the competition. The awards were handed out during the IFCA Annual Conference in St. Louis.

The competition drew more than 500 entries from some of the largest financial services companies in the industry. Entries submitted to the international, industry-wide competition are evaluated by professionals in the marketing and communications field.

Founded in 1933, the Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (IFCA) is the oldest and largest industry organization of its kind, and is dedicated to the ongoing professional development of its members in financial services communications. Each year, the IFCA holds its annual awards competition for sales promotion and marketing materials. Entries are judged on the following criteria: concept, writing, art direction, overall execution and effectiveness.
