And, to give parents a head start, MetLife announced today its Snoopy Snapshot Challenge, offering families the chance to be awarded $10,000 that may go toward their child’s college education.

The Snoopy Snapshot Challenge features fun with the Peanuts Gang and a chance at one of four $10,000 prizes. Parents can enter through the contest’s tab on the MetLife Facebook page. “Like” the page and you’ll be able to upload an image of your child’s face onto the Peanuts character of your choice. Complete and submit the online Official Entry Form. Then, share the newest member of the Peanuts Gang with your friends and family on Facebook and invite them to vote for your child.

Photos will be divided into four age categories:

  • Little Kid:  Children ages 4 through 7
