METLIFE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SETS DATE FOR 2014 ANNUAL SHAREHOLDERS MEETING

The board of directors of MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced today that the company will hold its 2014 annual shareholders meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, beginning at 11:30 a.m. (ET) in New York City. The board of directors established Feb. 28, 2014, as the record date for determining shareholders entitled to vote at the meeting.
