Maxwell Health, a revolutionary operating system for employee benefits, will now make MetLife products available through their private marketplace effective January 1, 2015, with quotes available now.

Maxwell Health features a beautiful user interface and an intuitive, lifestyle-based system that bundles employee benefits for simplified, personalized benefits enrollment. With Maxwell, employers can offer all lines of insurance, including both fully- and self-insured medical insurance, as well as individual products from the state and federal exchanges, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, financial products including 401k and HRA/FSA/HRA, increasingly popular voluntary products like accident and critical illness insurance and other innovative best-in-class products and services for their employees.

Through the Maxwell Health platform, employees will have access to the following MetLife products: Basic and Voluntary Life; Dental PPO (PDP Plus Network); Vision; Basic and Voluntary Long Term and Short Term Disability; Auto and Home (in Q1 2015); Critical Illness (Attained Age); Accident; Hospital Indemnity; Legal Services and MetLife Defender (available 4/1/15 for employers with fewer than 1,000 employees). All products will be available for groups with more than 100 employees, with a more limited selection coming soon for companies with between 10 and 100 employees.
Employees registering for benefits through Maxwell Health will benefit from the company's iOS and Android mobile app, which includes a virtual insurance card and provides benefits and wellness information 24/7. The app streams in employee fitness data from market-leading Jawbone UP and Fitbit fitness devices, providing contextualized, relevant feedback to employees for their wellness programs. A social layer includes wellness challenges and company leaderboards, and an easy-to-implement rewards marketplace allows employers to reward healthy behavior with gift cards or nonprofit donations.
